A major integration is changing how people can use popular creative tools. Adobe has announced that its key applications – Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat – are now directly accessible within the ChatGPT interface. This means users can perform tasks in these Adobe programs by simply typing instructions into the AI chatbot, without needing to open the apps separately.
This new feature, available to all ChatGPT users including those on the free tier, allows for a range of actions. In Photoshop, users can edit images by describing what they want – like adjusting brightness, applying effects, or fine – tuning a specific part of a photo – all through text prompts. For design work, ChatGPT can browse templates in Adobe Express, fill in text, replace images, and animate designs. When working with documents, users can ask ChatGPT to edit PDFs in Acrobat, extract text or tables, merge files, and convert documents.
Currently, the integration is supported on ChatGPT’s desktop, web, and iOS platforms, with Adobe Express also available on Android. The connection is secured, requiring users to log into their own Adobe accounts, ensuring privacy and security. This move by Adobe represents a significant step toward making complex creative and document editing more accessible through simple, conversational commands.
