Yoto Player interactive audio player

Yoto is a children’s goods firm with headquarters in London that was founded in 2015. The concept behind this service is that kids can learn via technology without really spending any time in front of a screen like TV, and phones. The Yoto Player is a kid-friendly audio platform without screens. It is a tiny, cube-shaped device that can safely deliver stories, music, podcasts, and radio to kids. So that you can allow your child to enjoy time alone listening to these with complete peace of mind because there is no camera, microphone, or advertisements. The best children’s authors in the world have novels in Yoto’s content library thanks to agreements it has made with publishers like Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Hachette, and Macmillan. Here audio playback and control of audio are provided by two straightforward push and twist buttons on the Yoto Player. You can use these two buttons to skip forward and backward navigate through tracks and adjust the volume.

When talking about this player, the most important feature is the usage of physical cards for music playback and control. All you have to do is simply place your preferred card in the slot at the top of the device. Then the audio content will begin to play. To pause or stop the audio, just remove the card. Here there are six categories of physical cards also called content cards. They are music, stories, podcast, activities, sound effects, and radio. Any child ages 2 and up can plug into the Yoto player to access a world of acceptable and kid-safe music, storytelling, and interactive learning games since they have been customized for children. In addition to these six categories, this product allows the children to draw and upload their own homemade content cards. For that users have to purchase the card type called “Make Your Own”. Parents can also be creative and customize their own content, such as music, podcasts, or private recordings, using blank cards.

Another most important feature of this device is the battery. Since there is a battery in this Yoto Player, children can use it anywhere because it is portable and also, since there is a magnetic dock, children can safely charge it themselves when necessary. Furthermore, the angled back of this player allows it to be placed on the floor or positioned upright on a table or shelf with the display facing the kid. The device enters a special bedtime mode when turned on its face, putting the display to sleep and turning on the rear nightlight. Since this device has the capability to magically transform the front surface of the device into a 16 x 16-pixel color display, it can provide feedback and interactive content without being distracting. The Yoto Player is encased in a flexible plastic container with illuminated sides and a matrix display on the front to assist bring the audio contents to life.  A premium 5W speaker, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a built-in battery are all included inside the case. Placing the player on a magnetic dock will allow it to be readily recharged. The Yoto Player’s design meticulously included the Yoto brand logo, a welcoming smiling face.

This device comes with an app. This app is available on App Store or Google Play. You can download that free Yoto app via iOS or Android. Once you download the app, you can create an account to pair your smartphone with the player and to connect the player to Wi-Fi. Two adults can register on the same account. Also, you can personalize your player with a name, set sleep and wait times, and choose what you want the clock to look like on the player’s digital display. Once the card has been played in the Yoto Player it becomes part of your in-app library. So, with the help of the app, you can choose to play a card’s content through your phone and then connect it to any Bluetooth speaker.

Since nowadays we are living in a digital era, it has created more threats to children. These days majority of children around the world have addicted to TV and phone screens. The Yoto Player, in my opinion, is an incredibly useful speaker that has been created with the most recent technology and offers a conventional approach to educate your children — by listening to stories and various interactive podcasts. The children and their future are ultimately what matter the most. Thanks to this Yoto Player, parents can keep their children entertained, helping them to improve their imagination skill and keeping them away from screens at the same time.
