Grok Gets Eyes: xAI’s Chatbot Now Sees the World Through Your Phone

xAI has taken a major step forward by adding a new visual feature to its Grok chatbot. The latest update, called Grok Vision, allows users to point their phone’s camera at real-world objects like signs, products or documents and ask Grok questions about them. It’s similar to what’s already available in other AI tools like Google Gemini and ChatGPT with real-time vision support.

This new visual feature is now available for iOS users through the Grok app, making it more interactive and useful in everyday situations. However, Android users will need to wait a bit longer, as the feature isn’t live for that platform yet.

Alongside Grok Vision, xAI has also rolled out some additional tools. These include multilingual audio support and real-time search while using voice mode. Android users can try out these features, but they need to be subscribed to the $30 per month SuperGrok plan.

Grok has been evolving rapidly with new updates arriving regularly. Earlier this month, xAI introduced a memory feature to help Grok remember details from previous conversations. The chatbot also received a new canvas-style tool, allowing users to build apps and create documents directly with Grok’s help.

With every new feature, Grok is becoming a smarter and more useful assistant, bringing AI closer to your everyday world.
