Stranger Things superstar Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have expanded their family. The couple recently announced the joyful news that they have adopted a baby girl.
The 21-year-old actress shared the heartwarming update on her Instagram, posting a beautiful message for her fans. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption”, she wrote. Brown expressed that they are “beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy”. The announcement was signed, “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi”.
While they chose to keep their daughter’s name private, the post featured a symbolic image of a willow tree, hinting at a theme of grace and growth for their new family.

The exciting new beginning comes just over a year after the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony. Brown, then 20, married Bongiovi, 23, the sun of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. The actress has often spoken about their strong relationship, nothing on the Call Her Daddy podcast that their parents also married young, proving them with “really great role models”.
Their love story began when they connected through a mutual friend, famously initiated by a “cold – call” from Brown. They now share theiur life on a peaceful farm, a home they share with a growing menagerie of rescued animals.
A Passion for Rescue and Career Heights
Millie Bobby Brown’s compassionate nature extends far beyond her new role as a mom. She is passionate advocate for animal welfare, working closely with a dog rescue organization called Joey’s Friends. In an interview with Vogue, she revealed she has helped rescue more than 230 dogs. She once personally fostered 23 dogs at her home, a testament to her dedication.
Professionally, Brown is at the peak of her career. She recently finished filming the highly anticipated final season of the global Netflix phenomenon, Stranger Things, which is set to conclude in late 2025. She has also just wrapped production on the third Enola Holmes film and continues to star in major Netflix features like Damsel and The Electric State.
