Netflix has introduced a fresh and simplified design for kids’ profiles across its platform worldwide, focusing on easier navigation and better content discovery. The update brings a cleaner interface and a smoother TV experience for young viewers, helping them find their favorite shows and movies faster.
Earlier this year, Netflix rolled out a redesigned homepage for standard profiles, adding AI-powered search, improved recommendations, and smart shortcuts. Now, the company has extended these features to children’s profiles, tailoring them to fit the needs of younger audiences.
The new update includes a refreshed layout with a top navigation bar that links directly to the “My Netflix” section. This space gathers all the content kids have watched, saved, or loved in one place, making it easier to rewatch their favorite shows and movies anytime. Since many children enjoy revisiting their beloved characters and stories, this feature ensures a more personalized and engaging viewing experience.
Netflix also revealed that recommendations on kids’ profiles will now update in real time, helping children find new shows without spending too much time searching. The platform still retains popular features such as Character Themed Rows, Mystery Box suggestions, and strong parental control options — ensuring both fun and safety for young users.
Alongside this update, Netflix has announced several new features planned for the coming months, including real-time voting, interactive games, and podcasts. One of the exciting upcoming additions is live voting for the new show Star Search, following earlier experiments with Dinner Time Live with David Chang.
According to Netflix, this redesigned interface offers a more flexible platform for new creative formats, including interactive content and live experiences. It’s another step toward making Netflix not just a streaming service, but a full entertainment space that evolves with its audience — from kids to adults.
