Saif Ali Khan’s Knife Attack: Taimur’s Emotional Question That Touched Hearts

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recently opened up about a terrifying night when an intruder attacked him at his Bandra home on January 16 in an attempted burglary. The incident left him with stab injuries, and he had to undergo surgeries at Lilavati Hospital. Days after being discharged, Saif shared the emotional and intense moments that followed the attack.

Recalling the night, Saif revealed that he didn’t immediately realize he had been stabbed. He felt pain in his back but didn’t think it was serious at first. Kareena Kapoor, his wife, was trying to reach out for help, but no one was awake at that hour. As they processed what had happened, their son Taimur asked a heartbreaking question: “Are you going to die?” Saif reassured him, saying, “No, I’m fine.”

Taimur stayed calm and insisted on going to the hospital with his father. Saif, who was deeply moved by his son’s presence, shared that looking at Taimur gave him a sense of comfort during such a traumatic moment. Kareena made the decision to send Taimur with him, knowing how much it would mean to both father and son. Along with their staff member, Hari, they rushed to the hospital in a rickshaw.

After six days of treatment, Saif was discharged on January 21. He made his first public appearance at a Netflix event last week, showing his resilience. Up next, the actor will be seen alongside Jaideep Ahlawat in Siddharth Anand’s OTT debut, Jewel Thief.
