What’s Changing in the Apps
You’ll now see new warnings in both WhatsApp and Massenger;
- On WhatsApp, a warning appears when you try to share your screen during video calls with unknown contacts. Scammers often use this tactic to steal bank information to and security codes.
- On Messenger, the app can now detect suspicious messages. When it finds one, it shows a clear warning and suggests you block or report the sender. the warning also explains common scam methods like fake job offers.
