A stunning whippet from Venice, Italy, has made history by winning Best in Show at the 2025 Crufts dog show in Birmingham. The four-year-old champion, Miuccia, outshined over 18,000 dogs from around the world to claim the top honor at the NEC.
Handler Giovanni Liguori expressed his joy, calling the victory a dream come true. He praised Miuccia for her outstanding performance and strong bond with him. This win marks a first for Italy, making the moment even more special.
Owned by Enrico De Gaspari, Miuccia first secured victory in the hound group before competing against six other group winners for the ultimate title. Liguori described her as the sweetest dog who loves to stay close to him, making their connection truly special.
