Samsung Expands One UI 7 Update: More Galaxy Phones to Get Android 15

Samsung is making big moves with its One UI 7 update, bringing Android 15 to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Initially limited to the Galaxy S23 series and a few other models, the company has now confirmed that devices like the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and several others will also receive the update.

The rollout will start in Singapore on April 14, with the Galaxy S24 series being the first to get the update. In India, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will receive the update from April 7. Samsung has not yet announced specific rollout dates for other regions, but users can expect the update in the coming weeks.

Here is the list of Samsung devices that will receive One UI 7:

  • Galaxy S Series: S24, S24 FE, S23, S23 FE, S22, S21, S21 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold & Flip Series: Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3
  • Galaxy Tab Series: Tab S10, Tab S9, Tab S9 FE, Tab S8, Tab S6 Lite

Samsung first introduced One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series, and now it’s expanding to older models. The update brings a fresh look with enhanced customization, improved widgets, and a new notification system called the Now Bar, making it easier to access important updates without unlocking the phone.

The update also includes AI-powered features, such as AI Select, which lets users create GIFs from videos with a single tap. Writing Assist helps with summarizing and formatting text, while Drawing Assist enhances creativity with smart editing tools. Audio Eraser allows users to remove unwanted background noise from videos effortlessly.

Samsung has also integrated Google Gemini, making it easier to control the device with voice commands. Users can now search settings using natural language, making adjustments like screen brightness or enabling eye comfort mode just by asking.

The One UI 7 update will continue rolling out in phases, so users should keep an eye out for notifications. With a refreshed design, AI-powered tools, and better personalization, this update promises a more seamless and intuitive experience for Galaxy users.
